With St. Patrick’s Day upon us, it appears we have another excuse to spread the word about our best green margaritas…. which is not easy when the large majority of these suckers are Leprechaun green! BUT… this isn’t rocket science, so we’ve narrowed the list to 10 drinks by focusing on Irish culture and the tastiest green green Margaritas.
Irish Drinks
Our Irish Mist Margarita is Leprechaun green, and it comes with a favorite Irish whisky. This drink is on the sweeter side, so if that’s your thing, this is a must-try. We made this thinking there might be a great marriage of flavors if we combined whisky and Anejo tequila given that both beverages are aged in whisky barrels. Sure enough, the ingredients complement each other, and the honey complements Anejo and Tequila separately and combined. This drink has quickly become one of our favorites. Given the history of drinking in Mexico and Ireland, it shouldn’t surprise anyone that this duo might be capable of producing ingredients that create a great alcoholic drink!
When we developed our second Irish drink, we were completely focused on THE “Patron Saint of Ireland,” so we pulled out the big guns. Our St. Patrick’s Margarita has Sheehan White Chocolate Irish Cream, melon liqueur, and Patrón tequila (for the Patron Saint). And, as you might expect, this drink looks and tastes the part.
Creative Concoctions For Less-Intense Drinkers
For the semi-health conscious, we’ve unveiled our Green Machine Margarita, complete with natural green juices and a smoothie flavor. Juices included are Apple Juice From Concentrate (Water, Apple Juice Concentrate), Mango Puree, Pineapple Juice, Banana Puree, Kiwi Puree, Spirulina, Natural Flavor, Alfalfa, Broccoli, Spinach, Barley Grass, Wheatgrass, Ginger Root, Parsley, Kale, Odorless Garlic.
And for those people who simply do NOT want a hangover but still want to play on the big day, please try our Liquid I.V. Melon Margarita. Just don’t drink too many!
