Classic Margarita

Ingredients

  • Limes (to squeeze for 2 ounces of juice, moisten glass rim, and use as a garnish)
  • Salt (kosher or coarse sea salt)
  • Silver Tequila
  • Triple Sec
  • Ice

Directions

  • Pour salt into a shallow bowl or flat plate
  • Cut lime in half and cut one circular slice of lime
  • Select a glass and slide lime around glass rim to moisten rim with lime juice
  • Flip glass and place rim on salt plate
  • Flip glass upright and add ice cubes
  • Add tequila (1.5 ounces), triple sec (1 ounce)
  • Top off with lime juice
  • Stir to combine
  • Hang lime wedge on glass rim and serve
